The QurBrand Story
In February 2016, a mother took her fifteen-year-old son to the emergency room after a week of intense knee pain and swelling. An X-ray revealed a large mass in his femur that was soon diagnosed as osteosarcoma — a rare and aggressive form of childhood bone cancer.
Their world quickly shifted into a relentless cycle of treatments, procedures, and uncertainty. That first year was marked by anxiety, physical pain, sickness, and extreme exhaustion. Searching for ways to comfort her child, his mother began researching medicinal herbs and creating botanical infusions to help soothe his physical and emotional distress.
What began as a mother’s act of care gradually became something more. Over the course of seven years, their shared journey through relentless illness, remissions, and resilience laid the foundation for a wellness philosophy rooted in compassion, plant wisdom, and lived experience.
In 2021, QurBrand LLC was founded by the mother-and-son team of Chantay and Quincy Harmon, and the QURGANIX™ product line was born. Tragically, Quincy’s health took an unexpected turn, and he transitioned in September 2022.
Today, QurBrand has evolved into a modern herbal apothecary devoted to clean, organic, plant-powered wellness. Our botanical teas, tinctures, and skincare formulations are handcrafted in small batches using thoughtfully sourced herbs, signature plant extracts, and therapeutic-grade essential oils. Each product is created with intention — to support balance, comfort, and natural vitality through the healing intelligence of plants.
Our ingredients reflect our commitment to quality and integrity. We prioritize USDA-certified organic herbs, sustainably harvested botanicals, and traditional plant preparations such as tinctures and herbal infusions. Every formulation honors time-tested herbal traditions while offering a refined, modern experience for everyday wellness.
QurBrand was inspired by the life and legacy of Quincy Alexander Harmon, whose empathy, philanthropy, and passion for science continue to guide the heart of the brand.

About the Founder
Chantay M. Harmon is the Founder and Chief of QurBrand LLC, The QurBrand Apothecary and curator of the QURGANIX™ herbal wellness line.
With nearly four decades of leadership in private-sector technical and project management roles within the IT and Telecommunications industries, Chantay brings disciplined execution, strategic planning expertise, and operational structure to her work in wellness entrepreneurship and community programming.
In 2021, Chantay formally established QurBrand LLC alongside her son Quincy, whose encouragement and vision helped bring the brand to life. After Quincy's passing in 2022, she deepened her commitment to building QurBrand as both a wellness enterprise and a platform for advocacy, education, holistic self-care and caregiver support.
In 2025, Chantay retired from the private sector to dedicate herself fully to expanding QurBrand’s online presence and cultivating an apothecary-based community centered on herbal education, wellness practices, and compassionate care.
Through formal study and ongoing independent research, Chantay focuses on botanical traditions, safe herbal preparation methods, and the role of plant-based rituals in supporting emotional grounding and caregiver resilience.
Her work emphasizes medicinal plant education and complementary wellness practices that respect clinical boundaries while empowering individuals and families with knowledge, comfort, and accessible pathways to holistic wellbeing.
Our Pledge to Support Childhood Cancer Research
🎗️ Childhood Cancer Awareness is recognized nationally throughout the month of September. At QurBrand, we honor and highlight awareness daily because behind every bright yellow ribbon is a child, a family, and a story of persistence and strength.
On September 25, 2022, the day of Quincy's ascension, a storm gave way to a rainbow across the sky. That rainbow has become a sign of hope, healing and the promise that our light never goes out, it simply refracts.
At QurBrand, we honor his legacy by weaving compassion into everything we do. QURGANIX product purchases underscore this legacy. A portion of the proceeds from all sales will be donated to support cancer research for young warriors who are still walking this journey.

Pageant Sponsorship: Promoting Holistic Radiance
This year QurBrand is proud to announce our product sponsorship and affiliate program for the 2026 Miss Black USA Pageant. QurBrand will support regional state and city queens representing Delaware, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
The product sponsorship program introduces the queens to the QURGANIX™ product line, educates them on the benefits of plant-based self-care, and invites them to chronicle their journey leading to the qualifying competition for the national title.
Through this partnership, participating queens receive curated selections from the QURGANIX collection designed to support wellness, balance, and self-care during the demanding pageant preparation season. From herbal teas and botanical blends to naturally inspired skincare, the program highlights the importance of nurturing both mind and body while pursuing excellence.
As brand ambassadors, the queens share their experiences with the products while preparing for competition, offering authentic insight into how plant-powered wellness can complement a lifestyle focused on leadership, service, and personal growth.
In addition to product sponsorship, QurBrand has launched a Queen Affiliate Program, allowing participating queens to share QURGANIX products and special event experiences with their communities. Through personalized referral links, queens can earn financial incentives while helping to raise funds toward their pageant preparation expenses, including travel, wardrobe, and competition costs. This initiative allows supporters to contribute directly to the queens’ journeys while also discovering the benefits of plant-based wellness.
